St Germain after the 2nd World War: the meeting place for artists, Jazz afro-american musicians and french songwriters, a place to have fun, listen to bebop and swing, freeing themselves from predetermined social codes.
On this tour we will visit the first underground bars where Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and Duke Ellington once set foot. Along the way you will learn about French music icons like Serge Gainsbourg, Boris Vian and Juliette Gréco.

Itinerary: The tour starts in front of the St Germain church, taking you through the streets of St Germain to finish back on the river Seine, at the Institute of France opposite to the Louvre museum.
